LG KF700 out now on O2

Available now from O2, the new LG KF700 Virgo is a sliderphone with a large touchscreen and a jog dial for navigation. LG claims the KF700 is the world’s first phone to offer three input methods. Users can choose from touchscreen, jog dial or keypad, whichever suits them the best.

Similar to the HTC Touch or Apple iPhone, users can navigate through menu options by swiping a finger across the screen. A dial on the back of the phone lets users scroll through six pre-selected features by controlling a virtual dial on screen. The dial can also be used to scroll through contact lists, web pages and emails, and a traditional numeric keypad slides out from the bottom of the phone.

The 3 inch display is impressive with a resolution of 240×480 pixels. The graphical interface is similar to that on the LG Viewty. The LG KF700 has plenty of technology packed in too. It’s a 3G phone with HSDPA 7.2Mbps. It has a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and there’s a secondary video call camera mounted above the screen.
